From Hides and skins, to malls then into education, Hassan Basajja Baraba would be regarded as one of the pioneer indigenous entrepreneurs who changed the  business trajectory of Uganda.

His boldness to confront where many businessmen feared at times got him  in the wring pass of media publicity making him a villain yet a hero of many indigenous individuals.

To many, the businesses he had would have been better done by foreigners especially Asians. Ugandans protested yet his patriotic heart remained calm, very few knew he would succeed. Because the leader of the African Struggle understood what he was undertaking,  the interests he was advancing that that was pure Ugandan, he stood with him, challenged the challengers and made things happen

Today  Tea estates with great tea factories employ directly and indirectly thousands of peasants that has also led to massive entrepreneurship in Ankole region,   setting up the Kampala International University in Kampala and later in Bushenyi marked the real education liberalization and many would later copy what he did. In a panAfrican move,  Kampala had to extend to East Africa and later South Sudan; its Kampala International University.

At home, he made the Ankole an impenetrable street for any opposition leading the NRM Crusader. Used all his Effort abd resources to make the mighty Red-UPC Bushenyi yellow, and confirmed that Museveni was the only President and leader in the part of the country. Not in Bushenyi or western Region alone, wherever Hassan went was like miracles of Jesus and Mohammed together came in drones to change all colors to yellow. He made the businessmen believe in the NRM philosophy and Ideology, tramped down protests silently and caused change of hearts even before the leader himself in Gen Museveni talked to them.

When he joined Real Estate and Management it was a business for the white and reds, Africans started to, seeing they could do it. Now its his example even his enemies follow to develop. In real estate, he had a message of NRM. The country saw development in areas where they never imagined and look, they believed the NRM ideology was real.

Basajjabalaba: The Entrepreneur who made Ugandans believe they can do it.

He engaged in health care, with the biggest hospital in south western Uganda with KIU hospital which got Everyone  thinking of the message or health liberalization.
